Dark Tea

Dark tea (Hei Cha in Chinese) differs from black teas in that they are fermented. With many unique health benefits, these teas are traditionally sold in areas where fewer vegetables are readily available. In some areas, such as Tibet, dark teas are among daily necessities. Benefits include aiding digestion, lowering cholesterol, reducing chances of heart diseases, providing vitamins and antioxidants, reducing inflammation, preventing diabete and preventing flu.
