Kabuse Sencha
Grown in Shizuoka, Kabuse is between Sencha and Gyokuro. Like Gyokuro, it is shade-grown for twenty days; like Sencha, it is machine harvested. This special tea is gathered only once a year in the early spring from select quality tea plants. It tends to be creamier than Gyokuro yet grassier and with a cleaner finish than Sencha. This is among the very best Japanese teas.
Basic preparation;
For this tea we recommend a cold rinse by pouring cool water over the dry leaves. Discard the water and brew. Use 2 teaspoons of tea per 8-12 oz of water. Steep for 1-2 minutes with 150° Fahrenheit.

If you are interested in a lighter brew try using 1 teaspoon.

If you are interested in a stronger brew try steeping for 3 minutes.
