Tea Time for Back-to-School Survivors<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

To all those adults who devoted the past weeks managing back-to-school pressures and challenges\u2014namely, parents and teachers\u2014we salute you. Congratulations\u2014you made it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s time for a reward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your summer schedule\u2014so carefree and loose, so agreeable\u2014vanished, not to get reprised for another nine months. Mornings came with stress and rushing. Post-school hours for parents involved piloting kids from sports and other activities, homework admonitions and dinner\u2019s demands. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Teachers dream about collapse during the hours following the school bell\u2014but they don\u2019t often get to sink into sloth. Instead, they\u2019re grading papers, getting ready for the next day\u2019s classes and trying to also cook dinner\u2014often for themselves and their families. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The return of the school slog comes with thrills and enchantments, for sure. But let\u2019s never forget the hardships. So let\u2019s spangle at least a little bit of sparkle among the adults for whom back-to-school means drastically rearranged lives. We think tea serves as a perfect reward. <\/p>\n\n\n
