These are delicious!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dark Chocolate Puerh Energy Bites<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Makes about 12 bites<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>2 Tbsp Dark Chocolate Puerh tea<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bc cup hot water (just off the boil, ~200\u00b0F)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 cup Medjool dates, pitted<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bd cup walnuts (or almonds)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 Tbsp unsweetened cacao powder<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pinch of sea salt<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Optional: shredded coconut, cocoa powder, or sesame seeds for rolling<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Directions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Steep the Dark Chocolate Puerh in \u00bc cup hot water for\u00a0<strong>6\u20138 minutes<\/strong>. Strain.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Return liquid to a small pan and simmer gently until reduced to about\u00a0<strong>2 Tbsp<\/strong>. Let cool slightly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In a food processor, combine dates, walnuts, cacao powder, salt, and the concentrated tea. Blend until sticky and uniform.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scoop and roll into bite-sized balls.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>(Optional) Roll bites in coconut, cocoa or sesame for a finishing touch.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Chill for 20 minutes to set.
