Bored with flavored seltzer, tired of non-alcoholic beer, exhausted by the idea of yet another sweet, newfangled \u201cwellness\u201d soda, Dry January participants seek something novel and delicious.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They have plenty of options, especially if they\u2019re game for engaging in some DIY. One key ingredient for the R&D? Tea. Bartenders already use tea in a diversity of traditional cocktail recipes\u2014tea\u2019s stunning range of flavors delivers quite a bit to the bartender\u2019s arsenal. We think tea is even more vital for people keen to craft cocktails without the hooch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alcoholic products, after all, offer big flavor. From the bitter herbs found in amaros and vermouths to gin\u2019s bold botanical profiles, whiskey\u2019s caramel and vanilla notes and tequila\u2019s unique flavor\u2014earthy and herbal\u2014the hard stuff dwells at the center of the cocktail experience. \u2022 1 cup Ku Cha chocolate\/cacao tea, brewed strong and chilled<\/p>\n\n\n\n
