The only teas in our house when I was growing up were a standard Lipton (bitter, sharp, slightly orange) and Constant Comment (spicy, bitter, but served with lots of sugar) which my mother only gave m, for some unknown reason, when I was sick as a treat. Imagine my surprise when I ventured into the world or 'real" tea in my teens! I was quite fond of Mu Tea for awhile which I bought at the local hippie natural food store but it wasn't until I moved to Boulder, 25 years ago, that I discovered imported black, green and white teas, flavored and otherwise. My current favorite is Puer. My downstairs neighbor, a tea afficionado, introduced me to thermometers, tiny steeping cups, and the lovely, first-sip-flavor of teas brewed to perfection. I now own a small glass fronted cabinet stocked with lovely tea and herbal teas. No day is complete without a cup! - Dhyan
