The benefits of Tea

Based on long term studies, teas have many healthy benefits. These include, but are not limited to, the following:

A Healthy Heart: Drinking tea promotes healthy arteries, which may explain why tea drinkers have a lower risk of heart attack and stroke. Drinking tea relaxes and dilates arteries, increasing blood flow to the heart. Tea drinking also increases the amount of chemicals called flavonoids in the blood. Flavonoids, which give tea flavor, are antioxidant compounds that have been shown to improve artery function in people with coronary artery disease.

Cancer-Fighting Abilities of Green Tea: A compound called EGCG in green tea prevents cancer cells from growing by binding to a specific enzyme.

Fresher Breath and Fewer Cavities: Studies show that people who rinsed their mouths with tea for one minute, 10-times a day developed less decay-causing plaque on their teeth than those who rinsed with water. The natural antioxidants in tea (not clear as to what to say next).

Disclaimer: The benefits of tea are based on the thousands of years of human practices. However, please consult your doctors for any scientific approves. Teas are not the substitues of your medicinces.
